Our Beliefs
The Bible is God’s divinely inspired revelation to mankind. The Old and New Testament Scriptures serve as the inerrant and authoritative source for faith and life. It is endurable and fully applicable for all generations and cultures (Matthew 5:18; John 16:12-13; 2 Timothy 3:16-17).
God is a single being existing eternally in three interrelated Persons – the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19).
Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. Conceived by the Holy Spirt and born of a virgin, He is fully God and fully man. He is the One who has redeemed mankind from sin through His sinless life, death on the cross, and resurrection from the dead. He has ascended into heaven and is now seated at the right hand of the Father where all authority and dominion are His. He is our High Priest, our divine Advocate with the Father, our Eternal Redemption, Eternal Salvation, and Everlasting Life. (Matthew 1:23; Mark 16:19; John 1:1-3, 3:16; Acts 2 23-24; I Corinthians 15:3-4; Hebrews 8:1; I John 2:1).
The Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Trinity, who indwells and empowers all who believe in Jesus Christ. He is at work in the world as a Witness making all men aware of their need of Jesus. (John 14:16-17, 26, 16:7-15; Romans 8:9; Ephesians 1:13-14).
The Church is the body of Jesus Christ consisting of all Christians. The one body unites Believers together in Christ; and its purpose is to glorify God, make disciples, and proclaim the Gospel to the world (Mark 16:15; Acts 1:8; Romans 1:16; I Corinthians 12:12-13; Ephesians 5:23-24).
Mankind was created in the image of God. Mankind is fallen and destined for eternal separation from God because of his willful choice to sin. All men are born into sin and must be born-again in Jesus Christ to be redeemed and restored to God (Genesis 1:27, 2:17; John 3:1-21, Romans 1:24-25; Romans 5: 12).
Salvation is the gracious gift of redemption, restoration, and eternal life freely offered to all men by God and is received through personal faith in the all-sufficient death and resurrection of Jesus Christ (John 1: 12, 10: 27-30; Romans 8: 1,38-39; Ephesians 1:7, 2:8).
Eternity is the final existence of all mankind to be spent eternally separated from God by sin, or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation in Jesus Christ. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life. Heaven and Hell are places of eternal existence (John 3:16, Romans 6:23; I John 2:25, 5:11-13; Revelation 20:15).
